Happy Fall Y’all!!
November winding down, wow! Busy, busy times at your Eagles Club. New things being added to the club calendar every time I check. I was lucky enough to win a game the first bingo Sunday of the season. Woo hoo! If history is any indicator, I’m done winning for the year. Oh well, it’s always so much fun just to play. We have the best bingo callers in the business and the Vikings are playing the Packers this Sunday. Seats fill up fast so I’m gonna try to get here a little earlier. We moved the next Bargo to the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The last coverall game pot is up to $2350 at 52 calls or $300 at 58 calls. Wouldn’t that money be handy for Christmas shopping. The best tasting Tom & Jerrys in town will be served at your club Thanksgiving morning. When my father and my uncles were still with us, this was something we all really enjoyed every year, still do, but I always miss my dad a little more this time of year. I’m sure I’m not alone. We’re doing another trivia night this month, the 29th. My family and I took second place at the last trivia night so we are hoping to improve a little at this one.
In this Thanksgiving season, it’s easy for me to think about some the things I am thankful for. Family first and foremost, my health, great friends, (most of which hang out at the Eagles club), and the great people who manage your Winona Eagles Club.
